FOX Sports 1 / BoxNation (UK), 9:00 pm EST, Antonio Tarver vs Mike Sheppard, Randy Caballero vs Jessy Cruz, Luis Ortiz vs Alex Gonzales, Dominic Breazeale vs Nagy Aguilera. Mason Dixon returns to the heavyweight division to take on a club fighter whose record is barely above .500 because for some reason Golden Boy has decided Tarver, who just turned 45, is worth the effort of even promoting a show nobody's going to watch. The rest is OK, and Aguilera is an especially decent test for the raw Breazeale. Unbeaten light heavyweight Thomas Williams Jr is also facing Yusaf Mack on this card. BLH will have live coverage, so you don't have to.

Mosley-mundine-v3-960x366_medium

Main Event PPV (AUS, $49.95), 3:30 am EST, Shane Mosley vs Anthony Mundine. With this fight falling apart and then being rescued, which to me is sort of like rescuing ... I don't know, something bad, whatever, this analogy sucks and so does this fight. Anyway, with the date change, this no longer has a prestigious American home on ESPN3.com as originally planned, because they said, "Look, we're not reserving another $34 in total Disney-ESPN money just to get burned again by you unreliable folk," and, hey, who can blame them? We'll try to get live coverage. I mean, I'll really try. No joke. I'm going to try. BLH will try to have live coverage.

TyC Sports (ARG), 9:00 pm EST, Billi Godoy vs Jorge Heiland.

Copperbox_chisora_cleverly_medium

BoxNation (UK), 2:00 pm EST, Dereck Chisora vs Ondrej Pala, Nathan Cleverly vs Daniel Ammann, Bradley Skeete vs Colin Lynes. Cleverly is moving up to cruiserweight and aiming for the vacant Commonwealth title. If he's not totally mentally wrecked by Kovalev introducing him to a man's world for the first time, then he'll be fine in the short-term. Chisora-Pala is about the third fight Chisora's had set for this date. He's always fun, unless he doesn't feel like trying. Skeete-Lynes is a nice prospect vs veteran fight. BLH will have live coverage.

ABS-CBN 2 / Studio 23 (PHI), 9:15 pm EST, (tape delay) Donnie Nietes vs Sammy Gutierrez, Merlito Sabillo vs Carlos Buitagro, Milan Melindo vs Jose Alfredo Rodriguez, Jason Pagara vs Vladimir Baez, AJ Banal vs Manuel Gonzalez Garcia. This card is actually starting live at 5:15 am EST on Saturday in the Philippines (6 pm local there), and won't air until Sunday morning at 10:15 am local, so 9:15 pm on Saturday our time. Got that? There's a couple world title fights here, with Nietes defending his WBO 108-pound belt against Gutierrez and Sabillo his WBO 105-pound belt against unbeaten Buitagro. Overall it's a really nice card.

Stevenson-bellew10-17-2103_5ce73_medium

HBO / Sky Sports (UK), 10:15 pm EST, Adonis Stevenson vs Tony Bellew, Sergey Kovalev vs Ismayl Sillakh, (replay) Manny Pacquiao vs Brandon Rios. The Pacquiao-Rios replay will lead off, so the two live fights won't get going until about 11 pm EST. This is meant to set up a Stevenson-Kovalev clash, but a couple things about that, and we'll get more into the fight this week obviously: Stevenson does not want to fight Kovalev right now, or at least that's what he's saying. He's blaming it on Kovalev only having a win over Nathan Cleverly, like beating Tavoris Cloud is so much better. Stevenson has the Dawson win going for him but other than that, he's done nothing more than Kovalev has to date, and in my view, Kovalev is facing a tougher foe on this show, too. Sillakh was once a highly-hyped (by knowledgeable folks) prospect who lost focus and fluke-dropped a bout to Denis Grachev. It does happen. But he's very talented. Bellew is a gutsy overachiever and a solid fighter who, to his credit, does not lose focus and get stopped by lesser foes. So we'll see. It's a good doubleheader. BLH will have live coverage.
