The Bad Left Hook Pick'em Game: Season 19 - Week 9

US PRESSWIRE

A ton of action on the line-up this week, with several very competitive looking match-ups. The first couple of fights take place on Friday in Japan and Australia with Akira Yaegashi taking on Edgar Sosa in a big flyweight encounter and Chris John going up against Simpiwe Vetyeka. Make sure to take into account the time difference - those fights will be taking place very early in the morning US time.

If you want to wait on making selections for some of the other match-ups, that's fine, just add your picks for the Saturday fights by replying to your own comment for the Friday fights (see the example in the comments).

Saturday's action starts in Germany, with Darren Barker and Felix Sturm battling it out in an intriguing middleweight clash. The rest of the action takes place in the US on Showtime and HBO, with good fights on both cards. The most significant of these bouts has Austin Trout and Erislandy Lara in match-up of 154lb contenders. The Showtime card also features Zab Judah taking on Paulie Malignaggi and Devon Alexander going up against Shawn Porter. Guillermo Rigondeaux takes on Joseph Agbeko in the HBO headliner, though the fight of the night might just be the undercard match-up between James Kirkland and unbeaten youngster Glen Tapia.

For those that haven't played before, welcome to the best pick'em game going. Please join right in and start playing (just make sure to check out the rules - we promise they are very simple).

An explanation of how to fill out your selections appears at the bottom of this post - please follow these instructions as it makes it easier for us to tabulate the results quickly each week.
