Telemundo, 11:35 pm EDT, Orlando Cruz vs Aalan Martinez. Cruz continues to work his way toward a frankly undeserved eventual title shot, likely against Mikey Garcia somewhere down the line. Martinez, a 29-year-old Mexican southpaw, is extremely untested, but his only loss is to Evgeny Gradovich, who is now a WORLD CHAMPIOOOON. BLH will have round-by-round coverage.

Saturday, March 16

TyC Sports (Argentina), 8:00 pm EDT, Yesica Yolanda Bopp vs Carolina Alvarez.

TV Max 9 (Panama) / ABS-CBN 2 (Philippines) / TyC Sports (Argentina), 8:00 pm EDT, John Riel Casimero vs Luis Alberto Rios, Roberto Vasquez vs John Mark Apolinario. Casimero defends his IBF junior flyweight title on the road in Panama.

FOX Sports / FOX Deportes / Televisa (Mexico), 10:00 pm EDT, Pablo Cesar Cano vs Manuel Perez, Jorge Linares vs David Rodela. Showcase fights for Cano and Linares on paper, but who knows with Linares? Update: Cano withdrawls with the flu.

ATV (Peru), 10:00 pm EDT, Alberto Rossel vs Walter Tello.

HBO, 10:15 pm EDT, Timothy Bradley vs Ruslan Provodnikov, Jessie Vargas vs Wale Omotoso. Bradley hasn't fought since June, so there's at least some feeling that maybe Provodnikov can provide a stiffer test than expected, simply because he's a high-output action fighter and Bradley might have to adjust to that. But Bradley is the very heavy favorite, and should be. Vargas-Omotoso is a decent matchup, kind of a high-end ShoBox/FNF bout. Neither seems a truly special prospect to me, and Omotoso has been disappointing since signing with Top Rank. Somebody's "0" will probably go! Unless they draw. BLH will have live coverage.

UniMas, 11:00 pm EDT, Roberto Marroquin vs Antonio Escalante. Should be a good action fight.

HBO, 12:15 am EDT, Road to Rios-Alvarado II.
