Video: Showtime boxing closes April big with Canelo vs Trout, Garcia vs Judah

Showtime boxing kicks into high gear in the coming weeks, with Canelo Alvarez vs Austin Trout on April 20, followed by Danny Garcia vs Zab Judah on April 27, leading into the Showtime PPV debut of Floyd Mayweather on May 4.

Canelo Alvarez: "I consider myself a hunter. This is what I sacrificed for. What I've fought so hard for."

Danny Garcia: "Every fight's a big fight now, because I'm the champion. I have to shine."

Austin Trout: "I know how tough I am, because I know where I've been and what I've done."

Showtime Sports is making their move on HBO this year, with a full partnership (unofficial, but we all know) with Golden Boy Promotions. After a slow start to the year that came in large part due to injuries and postponements, the network is about to get moving with some big fights, starting this weekend with Canelo Alvarez vs Austin Trout in San Antonio.

On April 27, Danny Garcia faces Zab Judah in Brooklyn. This all leads, of course, to the May 4 Showtime PPV fight between Floyd Maweather and Robert Guerrero.

It's a big three weeks coming up for Showtime Sports, without question, and it all starts on Saturday.
