Mosley vs Cano: Live results and round-by-round coverage

Tonight from Cancun, Mexico, Shane Mosley returns to take on Pablo Cesar Cano, hoping to end his four-year winless streak.

Tonight starting at 9:30 pm EDT on FOX Deportes (and on FOX Sports Net affiliates, if they choose to air it live, which they likely will not, but check your local listings!), Shane Mosley returns at age 41, fighting in Cancun, Mexico, against 23-year-old Pablo Cesar Cano.

There is a co-feature fight, and two bouts designated as TV swing fights if there is time.

Mosley (46-8-1, 39 KO) hasn't fought since getting dominated by Canelo Alvarez in May 2012 on the Mayweather-Cotto undercard. He announced an official retirement shortly after that, but by later in the summer was hinting at a "comeback." After a failed and ridiculous attempt to put him in with WBA welterweight titlist Paulie Malignaggi, Mosley will instead fight outside of the United States for the first time in his 20-year pro career.

Cano (26-2-1, 20 KO) came up just short against Malignaggi last October, and also has a loss to Erik Morales. He's a mid-tier fighter, but he has youth on his side.

Our priority will be with the Peterson-Matthysse card tonight, but we will have at least a recap of the Mosley-Cano bout, and an eye on the fight. And here's a place you can talk about the fight without having anything from that show spoiled, and vice versa.
