Garcia vs Lopez: Final press conference quotes and video from Mikey Garcia vs. Juan Manuel Lopez

Juan Manuel Lopez: "I hope he's in great condition and ready to die in the ring, because on Saturday, he's going to be in the toughest fight of his career. I came back to get the title and I'm taking it back to Puerto Rico Saturday night."

MIKEY GARCIA:

"I know my opponent is a tough guy. He's experienced, he's got the power, he's been champion twice. I can't take him lightly. I know it's not going to be an easy fight but once you're champion there's no such thing as easy fights. I believe it's going to be a tough fight, it's going to be a really good fight. But I also think and truly believe that I have all the elements and all the ingredients to win and show everybody why I am the best Featherweight in the world. This is another opportunity to show everybody that I truly am the best Featherweight champion of the world."

"I'm just very excited to be here and be given the opportunity to show everybody who I am as a fighter."

JUAN MANUEL LOPEZ:

"It's going to be a great fight. You have Mikey who wants to keep his title. I want to take it away from him to get something that was once mine."

"One time, when I saw Mikey in New York and I was talking to him I said don't worry about it, you're going to have the opportunity, you're going to be world champion. And he didn't only become a world champion, he's become a great world champion. I'd also like to tell him that I hope he's in great condition and to be ready to die in the ring, because on Saturday, he's going to be in the toughest fight of his career. I came back to get the title and I'm taking it back to Puerto Rico Saturday night."

"And to the experts and all the great analysts of boxing: if you're going to talk about Mikey beating Salido, Mikey should beat me by knock out if you're going by that. But if you see the records, you see there's more than one opponent. We both faced Bernabe Concepcion. I knocked him out in 2 rounds. After one year [Garcia] fought him and went 8 rounds with him. Garcia and Salido was a great fight, but Salido was on his way out."

"You know it's going to be a great war with two great warriors. You know it's going to be a great fight."
