If women made the IBHOF, Acuna would surely be there one day. She made an elite fighter like Hernandez look ordinary and has subsequently put herself in position to challenge WBO female featherweight champion Alejandra Marina Oliveras, who she's already beaten at super bantamweight. It's highly likely Acuna would beat Oliveras again, and without much trouble, so I'm actually hoping Oliveras-Hernandez gets made instead. Hernandez called Oliveras out after the fight. The styles mesh for a more entertaining contest.

This rematch is a candidate for female fight of the year and round 10 is a candidate for round of the year. It began with Juarez giving Togo a boxing lesson and ended with her standing and trading with the same woman who stopped her in 1 round 3 months earlier. Togo's pressure forced Juarez to go to war by the 2nd round. The scorecards don't reflect how competitive the fight was but ultimately Juarez rightfully emerged the new WBC International female super flyweight champion. She had the better jab, better footwork, better head movement, and faster hand speed.

But she couldn't take a punch like Togo, who quite frankly may not be human. I saw Juarez hurt at least a handful of times throughout the fight. It took a lot of guts to come out and fight the final round the way Juarez did, especially considering open scoring revealed she had the fight in the bag. To be honest it was pretty foolish. Yet, despite seemingly fading in the prior rounds, Juarez sucked it up and won a dramatic round 10. I'd love to see a trilogy but I think both women should take a long rest before getting in the ring again. This fight was brutal.

Makabu didn't always get out of the way of them and it made for a fun fight. So far this is the only fight in Makabu’s career that didn’t end in a KO.
