Golden Boy's August 9 ShoBox broadcast has been finalized, as the event headlined by Deontay Wilder vs Siarhei Liakhovich now has a pair of televised undercard bouts featuring notable prospects in the GBP stable.

Jermall Charlo (14-0, 10 KO) will face Antwone Smith (23-4-1, 12 KO) in a nice step-up fight at 154 pounds. The less-experienced Charlo twin, Jermall has picked up the pace big-time in 2013, already going 4-0 against decent competition, including wins against Orlando Lora and Luis Hernandez. Smith is a better fighter than those two, and has played a spoiler role well in the past.

Notably, Smith has knocked off unbeaten prospects Ronald Cruz and Henry Crawford in the last few years, and the win over Cruz came just last September. He's won two straight fights, beating the withered remains of Jose Luis Castillo and Cruz.

Francisco Vargas (16-0-1, 13 KO) will also be in action, as the 28-year-old lightweight will face fellow undefeated prospect Brandon Bennett (16-0, 7 KO), a 25-year-old southpaw from Cincinnati. This is a classic ShoBox matchup and should teach us plenty about both fighters.

The card will take place at the Fantasy Springs Resort Casino in Indio, California.
