Marco Huck vs Firat Arslan rematch postponed

Marco Huck is out of Saturday's scheduled fight with Firat Arslan due to injury.

Marco Huck has pulled out of this Saturday's scheduled rematch with Firat Arslan due to a hairline fracture in his left elbow suffered in training camp. The WBO cruiserweight titlist is expected to be out of action for six to eight weeks, at which time he may reschedule the fight.

Huck (36-2-1, 25 KO) fought Arslan (33-6-2, 21 KO) in November 2012, escaping with a close unanimous decision win over the German veteran, whose rise back into the world title mix last year came as a pretty big surprise. Now 42, Arslan has precious little time to capitalize on this career second win.

The 28-year-old Huck would probably like to get back into the ring before the year is out if possible. He has fought just once this year, finally scoring a clear win over Ola Afolabi in their third fight on June 8. Arslan has also fought one time in 2013, beating Varol Vekiloglu in April.
