Garcia vs Burgos: Live results and round-by-round coverage

Mikey Garcia faces Juan Carlos Burgos in tonight's HBO main event, with a potentially exciting heavyweight co-feature.

HBO/Ed Mulholland

Mikey Garcia will defend his WBO super featherweight title tonight against Juan Carlos Burgos on HBO, with the show going live at 9:45 pm EST from The Theater at Madison Square Garden.

For Garcia (33-0, 28 KO) it appears this may be his final fight at 130 before he chases bigger paydays and challenges at 135 or beyond (Manny Pacquiao has been mentioned, even). But Burgos (30-1-2, 20 KO) is no pushover, and will have a significant height and reach advantage. Garcia is by all accounts the better fighter, simple as that, but Burgos is a legitimate contender.

In the co-feature, unbeaten heavyweights Bryant Jennings (17-0, 9 KO) and Artur Szpilka (16-0, 12 KO) will square off in a pivotal fight for both men. This is the HBO debut for Jennings and Szpilka. Jennings has risen mostly thanks to appearances on NBC Sports with his old promoters at Main Events (he's now with Gary Shaw), while Szpilka has become something of a second-tier star thanks to wins on Friday Night Fights, particularly two Chicago brawls with Mike Mollo.
