Tonight at 9:00 pm EST on Showtime, Lamont Peterson defends his IBF junior welterweight title against mandatory challenger Dierry Jean in the main event, with Jermell Charlo facing Gabriel Rosado in the junior middleweight co-feature.
Also scheduled for an appearance is Adrien Broner, making his first TV stop since his December 14 loss to Marcos Maidana. Among other topics, Broner will discuss his spring rematch with Maidana. We'll see how that goes when the cameras are on him and if he thinks people expect "AB," "About Billions," "fresh, fly, and flashy."
Peterson (31-2-1, 16 KO) has faced the better competition of tonight's two main event guys, but Jean (25-0, 17 KO) has good talent and has cruised through his opposition so far. Though Peterson is better-known, this fight is far from a pushover.
In the co-feature, tough veteran Gabriel Rosado (21-7, 13 KO) figures to give untested Jermell Charlo (22-0, 11 KO) the toughest fight of his career to date.
We'll be here starting at 9, so join us!
