Ortiz vs Collazo weights: Both fighters make welterweight limit for Thursday's fight

Victor Ortiz and Luis Collazo made the 147-pound limit for tomorrow night's main event from the Barclays Center on FOX Sports 1, and the rest of the show's fighters are also good to go.

Victor Ortiz and Luis Collazo both weighed in at 146.6 pounds for tomorrow night's main event fight from the Barclays Center, to be televised on FOX Sports 1 starting at 9:00 pm EST. The fight's limit was 147 pounds, of course, since it's a welterweight fight. This is what we in the business call "word count."

Ortiz (29-4-2, 22 KO) hasn't fought since June 2012, when he had his jaw broken in a stunning upset loss to Josesito Lopez. He's the favorite tomorrow night and looks to be in very good shape, but Collazo (34-5, 17 KO) is a savvy veteran and no easy comeback opponent by any means.

In the main undercard bout, Eddie Gomez weighed in at 147.2 pounds with Daquan Arnett at 148.6. It's officially a junior middleweight (154) fight, but with a contract catchweight. Also televised will be featherweight prospect Gary Russell Jr (126.8) taking on Mexico's Miguel Tamayo (126.4), which will open the FS1 broadcast.
