Juan Manuel Marquez wanted a rematch with Timothy Bradley, but didn't get it due to Bradley opting instead for a bigger money fight against Manny Pacquiao on April 12. Still, Marquez is an interested observer, and he favors his great rival Pacquiao to beat his most recent opponent Bradley.
"First I want to say that it is an important, interesting fight, because of what happened in the first. In that fight the decision was different from what happened in the ring, and I think Bradley should change his strategy because it did not work [from the first fight]. Pacquiao could fight the same, but it is Bradley who needs to make adjustments. If judges do what needs to be done, Pacquiao should win. If Bradley makes the adjustments, it's going to be a very good fight."
Marquez, 40, could in theory face the winner, particularly if it's Bradley, but maybe still if it's Pacquiao and Marquez changes his mind about a fifth fight between them. That doesn't seem likely, but it could happen.
