After a troubling performance last night in a loss to Robinson Castellanos, Ronny Rios will take time off, according to his team at Espinoza Boxing, who reported that he was released from the hospital after a precautionary visit.

Rios (23-1, 10 KO) looked concussed or something like it after getting nailed repeatedly in the first round, and was never really in the fight, having trouble focusing his eyes, and turning away in the middle of the action a few times. He was also having difficulty in the corner between each round, as his team tried to inspire him to get back in the bout. Castellanos (20-10, 13 KO) was dominant, though, taking the fight to Rios and never allowing him to get back into it.
Referee Rey Corona stopped the fight 11 seconds into round five.
