Jermain Taylor is selling his 39-acre estate in Little Rock, Arkansas, according to a report at TMZ, which comes just days after the 36-year-old fighter won the IBF middleweight title from Sam Soliman in Mississippi.
Taylor is also currently in the process of dealing with a legal matter that took place at the home, where he allegedly shot his cousin last month.
The report says that the home has an asking price of $1.2 million.
As far as Taylor's boxing career goes, that's a complicated discussion. Obviously, the legal matters at hand could entirely derail his comeback, and even if they don't, there's a question of whether or not Taylor, who has been perceived as a shot fighter for years, is really in more danger holding the belt than he was making a soft charge toward the belt, an assisted push that owes a lot to the political clout of adviser Al Haymon.
