Weights: Soliman vs Taylor, Dirrell vs Brinson good to go

Sam Soliman and Jermain Taylor are ready to go for tonight's IBF middleweight title fight on ESPN2.

Sam Soliman and Jermain Taylor made weight yesterday for tonight's IBF middleweight title fight on ESPN2, which will emanate from the Beau Rivage Casino in Biloxi, Mississippi.

Soliman (44-11, 18 KO) will be defending the IBF belt against Taylor (32-4-1, 20 KO) in a battle of veterans at different points of their careers. While the 40-year-old Soliman seems to be fighting as well as ever, the 36-year-old Taylor has been out of the race for years now. After an ill-fated run at super middleweight, Taylor was out for two years between 2009 and 2011 before coming back to the middleweight division.

Soliman weighed in at 160 with Taylor at 159.8.

In the co-feature, Andre Dirrell (22-1, 15 KO) will take another tune-up, as he faces Nick Brinson (16-2-2, 6 KO) in a 10-round super middleweight fight. The 31-year-old Dirrell weighed in at 169 pounds, just higher than the 27-year-old Brinson, who tipped the scales at 168.8.

Bad Left Hook will have live coverage tonight, starting at 9:00 pm EDT.
