Video: Boxers nearly come to blows in TV studio

Rod Salka and Monty Meza Clay exchanged words in a Pittsburgh TV studio ahead of Friday's fight, and almost got physical. ALMOST!

Staged or not? Well, who cares? All we can tell from the video above is that Pittsburgh area fighters Rod Salka and Monty Meza Clay either don't like each other, or are good at trying to sell their fight on the local level.

Salka (19-4, 3 KO) and Meza Clay (36-3, 22 KO) will meet on Iron Mike Productions' card tomorrow night at the CONSOL Energy Center in Pittsburgh, a fight that will be broadcast on beIN Sports, Comcast Sports networks, and ROOT Sports, as well as streamed live online for free at IronMikeProductions.com.

Meza Clay, 33, is coming off of a brutal win in August over Alan Herrera in a Fight of the Year candidate, while Salka, 31, turned a pair of good performances into a sacrificial lamb slot against Danny Garcia, also in August at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn.

The main event of the show will see welterweight prospect Sammy Vasquez (16-0, 12 KO) take on Alberto Mosquera (21-1-2, 14 KO). Also in action will be 19-year-old 147/154 prospect Erickson Lubin (7-0, 6 KO), who will face Norberto Gonzalez (20-5, 13 KO), and junior middleweight prospect Domonique Dolton (14-0, 8 KO), taking on Jonathan Batista (14-4, 7 KO).
