Anthony Joshua made it 10 straight to start his promising pro career, finishing off veteran Michael Sprott in the first round tonight in Liverpool.

Joshua (10-0, 10 KO) is still looking to find an opponent who can go more than a few rounds with him, as he's just overpowered all of his opponents thus far. Sprott (42-23, 17 KO) stood no real chance, as the 39-year-old journeyman was finished as soon as he was hit solidly.

There is now talk of when Joshua will go after domestic titles or even a European title, with promoter Eddie Hearn saying that they're looking at summer 2015 for a possible British or Commonwealth title fight, noting that by then, Joshua "will be ready for anyone in the country."

At 25, Joshua still has a ways to go, but the skills are there, the dedication is there, and the power is most definitely there. We're getting closer to the point where we might find out what his chin's like as a pro, but at this level, he's clearly a force.
