Chris Eubank Jr takes a big step up this Saturday against reigning European, British, and Commonwealth middleweight champion Billy Joe Saunders, in a fight that some fear may be coming early for the 25-year-old prospect. But there's no doubting that Eubank has talent and physical gifts to spare, and this video of him working the pads with Floyd Mayweather Sr might open some eyes:
Eubank calls it the "world's fastest pad work," and, well ... maybe it is? It's certainly a boastful claim, but good gravy, look at him go!
Eubank (18-0, 13 KO) turned pro in November 2011 and has been very busy since then, including a 6-0 mark in 2014 alone. He last fought on October 25, stopping Omar Siala in two rounds in Liverpool. Saunders (20-0, 11 KO) has fought once this year, beating Emanuele Blandamura via KO-8 in July to pick up the vacant European middleweight title. He's beaten undefeated opponents in three straight fights.
