Amir Khan and Devon Alexander are both set for tomorrow night's Showtime welterweight main event from the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, Nevada, as both men made weight right on the button this evening.
Khan (29-3, 19 KO) and Alexander (26-2, 14 KO) both weighed in at 147 pounds.
Keith "One Time" Thurman (23-0, 21 KO) and Leonard Bundu (31-0-2, 11 KO) will meet in a welterweight co-feature. Both were in good shape, with Thurman weighing in at 146 pounds, and Bundu at 146½.
Abner Mares (27-1-1, 14 KO) weighed in at 127 for his 128-pound catchweight fight against Jose Ramirez (25-4, 15 KO), but Ramirez missed weight, coming in three pounds heavy at 131 pounds. Given that this is a mismatch on paper, the fight should be expected to go forward either way.
Jermall Charlo (19-0, 15 KO) and Lenny Bottai (22-2, 9 KO) both weighed in at the junior middleweight limit of 154 pounds.
