Adrien "The Problem" Broner will look to build on a bounce-back 2014 next year, and his current rumored return date is March 7, according to ESPN's Dan Rafael, with his opponent and the network airing the fight yet to be determined.
Broner (29-1, 22 KO) came back from his December 2013 loss to Marcos Maidana with a pair of wins over Carlos Molina and Emanuel Taylor, as the controversial 25-year-old star moved down to 140 pounds after a two-fight stint at welterweight. The Cincinnati native is with Al Haymon and Golden Boy Promotions, which has meant that he's recently been featured on Showtime.
But HBO is working with Golden Boy again, and it appears almost all of those old issues between the network, the promoter, and perhaps even Haymon are fading out. That could mean Broner will return to HBO for the first time since his February 2013 win over Gavin Rees.
For his career, Broner is 7-0 when fighting on HBO, and has gone 3-1 since moving to Showtime.
Who would you like to see Broner face?
