Timothy Bradley and Diego Chaves both made weight for their HBO main event on Saturday night, with Bradley coming in at 145.8 pounds, and Argentina's Chaves at 146½, both under the 147-pound limit.
Bradley (31-1, 12 KO) is the favorite in the fight, but Chaves (23-2, 19 KO) is at least somewhat of a danger to Bradley. The underdog can punch, and has given Keith Thurman and Brandon Rios difficult nights in varying ways, though he also did lose to both of them.
In a fight for the vacant WBO middleweight championship, Matt Korobov (24-0, 14 KO) and Andy Lee (33-2, 23 KO) were both just under the 160 pound limit. Korobov weighed in at 159.4 pounds, with Lee at 159.8.
Mauricio Herrera (21-4, 7 KO) weighed in at 139½ pounds for his junior welterweight fight with top prospect Jose Benavidez (21-0, 15 KO). Benavidez came in at 138½. The limit for the fight was 140.
