Pacquiao digs at Mayweather: 'I don't want my son to think of me as a coward'

Did Manny go too far?

Kirby Lee-USA TODAY Sports

In what may be an coincidence, but more likely is the most pointed verbal jab of the entire Mayweather-Pacquiao feud to date, Manny Pacquiao posted on Instagram that he doesn't want his son to think of him as a coward -- something Mayweather's son recently called his father in relation to past abuse against the boy's mother.

Pacquiao (57-5-2, 38 KO) is seemingly pushing for this fight harder than he ever has, at least in terms of trash talking. That's never been Manny's game, as Mayweather (47-0, 26 KO) has been known as the guy who would take the cheap shots. But with all fairness, this is, if on purpose, the nastiest of all the cheap shots thrown out so far. This is something that would be truly personal. This is a little beyond, "LOL he got knocked out one time"
