Tonight at 10 pm EST on HBO, David Lemieux and Gabriel Rosado headline a three-fight bill from the Barclays Center in New York, meeting in a middleweight showdown that could lead the winner to a title opportunity in 2015.
Lemieux (32-2, 30 KO) is the slight favorite in the fight, but Rosado (21-8, 13 KO) is not to be counted out. The tough Philly fighter has been in with big punchers in the past, and Lemieux's two losses have come against savvy veteran fighters who were able to weather his storm.
On the undercard, Puerto Rico's Thomas Dulorme (21-1, 14 KO) will meet Hank Lundy (25-3-1, 12 KO) in a 10-round junior welterweight fight, and Hugo Centeno Jr (21-0, 11 KO) takes on James De La Rosa (23-2, 13 KO) in a 10-round junior middleweight bout.
We'll also have live updates from Montreal, where Jean Pascal (29-2-1, 17 KO) looks to secure his March 14 date with Sergey Kovalev. Pascal needs a win over Roberto Bolonti (35-3, 24 KO) to keep that date locked in. That fight will have limited PPV availability in the United States, and is also available on PPV in Canada, TyC Sports in Argentina, and BoxNation in the United Kingdom.
