Hank Lundy wants shot at Ruslan Provodnikov for HBO's June 14 card

Hank Lundy is hoping to make an all-action fight and get a shot at Ruslan Provodnikov's world title on HBO in June.

Hank Lundy is never short on trash talk, and now he appears to be aiming to tweet his way into a shot at the WBO junior welterweight title and an HBO fight on June 14 against Ruslan Provodnikov. That will be the week after the Cotto-Martinez PPV, which will include a replay of that bout, and could be a big night with more eyes than normal on HBO's show.

Lundy (24-3-1, 11 KO) has won two straight, outclassing both Olusegun Ajose and Angelo Santana in 10-round decisions. Those wins followed a pair of losses to Raymundo Beltran and Viktor Postol, but Lundy is an exciting fighter and the two wins are both solid.

Here are Lundy's call-out tweets:

It's a little difficult to imagine Provodnikov (23-2, 16 KO) "running from" Lundy considering Provodnikov is coming off of a win over Mike Alvarado and a Fight of the Year loss to Timothy Bradley in 2013 (in reverse order), but Lundy's doing what he can to hype this idea.

It's no doubt a great action fight on paper, since these guys both find it all but impossible to have less than a good fight. But is this a fight that interests you, or were/are you hoping for something "bigger" for Provodnikov?
