Tonight at 9:00 pm EDT on NBC Sports Network, the Main Events Fight Night series returns with a heavyweight main event and two solid undercard bouts. On the top of the bill, Tomasz Adamek faces Vyacheslav "Czar" Glazkov in a 12-round bout.
Adamek (49-2, 29 KO) is looking for win No. 50, as the former light heavyweight titlist, cruiserweight champion, and now long-running heavyweight contender tries to work his way back into a world title shot. Glazkov (16-0-1, 11 KO) is no pushover, though, and this is a big opportunity for his career. With a win here, he could get a title shot very quickly himself.
On the undercard, light heavyweights Isaac Chilemba (21-2-2, 9 KO) and Denis Grachev (13-2-1, 8 KO) will do battle in a 10-round bout. The hard-hitting Grachev is looking to rebound from a TKO-1 loss to Edwin Rodriguez last July in Monte Carlo, while Chilemba is fighting for the first time since a November win over Michael Gbenga, which followed a draw and loss to Tony Bellew in consecutive fights earlier in the year.
Also, welterweight Ronald Cruz (20-2, 15 KO) will have home field advantage in Bethlehem, PA, as he meets fellow transplanted Puerto Rican and former welterweight titlist Kermit Cintron (34-5-2, 28 KO) in a 10-round fight.
We'll start here with live coverage at 9, but once the Showtime bill resumes after the Canelo-Angulo replay, our focus will be there. If you're watching this show instead, this is the place to discuss it.
