HBO Boxing After Dark returns tonight at 10:00 pm EDT with a doubleheader led by the main event between WBO light heavyweight titlist Sergey Kovalev and undefeated underdog challenger Cedric Agnew, with Karim Mayfield facing Thomas Dulorme in the junior welterweight co-feature.

Kovalev (23-0-1, 21 KO) has been a wrecking ball over his career, and has emerged since 2011 as one of the top 175-pound fighters in the world. Agnew (26-0, 13 KO) is a relative unknown who has not received any TV push over his pro career, but those who know him say he's got the skills to possibly push Kovalev. Can he do it? He's got his chance tonight, and that's all we can know for sure, for now. Agnew did take three attempts to make weight yesterday.

In the co-feature, it's a heated matchup between Mayfield (18-0-1, 11 KO) and Dulorme (20-1, 14 KO), who had a run-in earlier this week that led to a double-choking and brief brawl at yesterday's weigh-in. This is a big fight for both guys, who need the win to move into a potential title shot situation at 140.
