Stuart Hall vs Martin Ward: Live streaming updates and coverage

Stuart Hall faces Martin Ward for the IBF bantamweight title, with three domestic titles -- British, Commonwealth, and English -- on the line on the undercard.

This afternoon at 3:00 pm EDT on BoxNation (UK), Stuart Hall will headline from Metro Radio Arena in Newcastle, as he makes the first defense of his IBF bantamweight title against Martin Ward in a 12-round fight.

Hall (16-2-1, 7 KO) won the vacant belt against Vusi Malinga in December, and is also a former British and Commonwealth champion. Ward (18-2, 4 KO) isn't really a legitimate bantamweight contender, but then it's arguable that Hall isn't truly one of the top bantamweights in the world, either. For what it's worth, BoxRec has Hall ranked No. 17 in the world, and Ward is No. 62. Neither man would make my top ten, but then that is just one man's opinion.

The undercard features some good prospects in action, too, but it's pretty standard BoxNation fare overall, so if you're looking for anything great, I don't know, take your chance with this lineup:

Commonwealth Welterweight Title, 12 Rounds
Frankie Gavin (18-0, 12 KO) vs Sacky Shikukutu (18-2-1, 12 KO)

British Cruiserweight Title, 12 Rounds
Jon-Lewis Dickinson (14-2, 3 KO) vs Neil Dawson (12-2, 5 KO)

Junior Welterweights, 10 Rounds
Bradley Saunders (8-0, 6 KO) vs Mitch Prince (12-2-2, 1 KO)

English Lightweight Title, 10 Rounds
Kirk Goodings (10-1, 2 KO) vs Gary Fox (11-2, 2 KO)

Heavyweights, 8 Rounds
Gary Cornish (17-0, 9 KO) vs Tibor Balogh (13-3-2, 9 KO)
