Sergey Kovalev KO-7 Cedric Agnew
Our post-fight recap is here. Kovalev landed (107) as many punches as Agnew threw (109). Punch stats don't always tell the story, but sometimes they do. That's pretty much the story of the type of fight it was.
Thomas Dulorme UD-10 Karim Mayfield
Our post-fight recap is here. The press release has the audacity to call the fight "exciting right from the beginning," then points out with no humor that they averaged 28 (Mayfield) and 30 (Dulorme) punches thrown per round.
Radivoje Kalajdzic SD-8 Lionell Thompson
Scores for this one were 78-72 and 76-75 for Kalajdzic (15-0, 10 KO), and 77-75 for Thompson (15-3, 9 KO). This one was originally scheduled for 10 rounds, but was cut short due to delays on the undercard.
Wilky Campfort SD-8 Khurshid Abduallaev
Scores were 77-74 and 76-75 for Campfort (17-1, 9 KO), and 76-74 for Abdullaev (6-1-1, 3 KO). Puerto Rico's Campfort scored a knockdown in the first round, and according to the press release, "threw Abdullaev out of the ring" in the second. So that sounds fun.
Adam Kownacki TKO-2 Excell Holmes
A pair of New York heavyweights. Polish-born Kownacki improved to 6-0 (6 KO) with the stoppage win, while Buffalo's Holmes fell to 2-3-1 (1 KO). He hasn't won since 2011.
Michael Mitchell TKO-2 Rafael Jastrzebski
The fight was stopped at 2:53 of round two after a pair of knockdowns. It's the first stoppage win for Mitchell (3-3-2, 1 KO), and the second straight loss for Jastrzebski (4-8-1, 1 KO).
Wellington Romero UD-4 Gerald Smith
The guy born in 1991 beat the guy born in 1985 in this matchup of dudes to make you feel old. Romero is now 3-0 (1 KO), while Smith suffers his first loss, falling to 3-1 (1 KO).
Ismael Garcia UD-6 Dushane Crooks
Scores were 58-56 across the board for Garcia (6-0, 3 KO). Crooks loses for the first time, his record dropping to 6-1 (4 KO) in his first fight against someone who had a professional win coming in.
