BoxNation will have a live card this afternoon at 3:00 pm EDT from London's Copper Box Arena, with Frank Buglioni headlining against Sergey Khomitski in a 10-round super middleweight bout.
Buglioni (12-0, 9 KO) is a popular young fighter, though Khomitsky (28-10-2, 11 KO) could represent a good step up in competition today. The 39-year-old Khomitsky has been noted for giving solid tests to Martin Murray and Ryan Rhodes in recent years, plus he was the fighter who retired Jamie Moore in 2010. For the most part, Khomitsky loses to his better opponents, but they've all been good fighters. A win today for Buglioni means something.
Also in action: Tony Conquest (13-1, 5 KO) will defend the Commonwealth cruiserweight title against Ovill McKenzie (21-12, 10 KO); Bradley Skeete (15-0, 4 KO) will face Tobia Giuseppe Loriga (27-3-2, 6 KO) in a 12-round welterweight bout; Chris Eubank Jr (13-0, 8 KO) will take on Sandor Micsko (22-5-2, 16 KO) in a 10-round super middleweight fight; super bantamweight prospect Lewis Pettitt (13-1, 4 KO) will face Emerson Santos Carvalho (12-4-1, 10 KO); welterweight Gary Corcoran (8-0, 4 KO) takes on familiar journeyman Max Maxwell (16-43-3, 3 KO); and Eddie Chambers (37-4, 19 KO) is right back to action following his March 29 fight, facing Moses Matovu (5-39-4, 0 KO) in another tune-up bout, after Ian Lewison pulled out of the fight.
