Bernard Hopkins and Beibut Shumenov hit the scales today at 1:00 pm EDT for tomorrow night's Showtime Championship Boxing triple-header, alongside the undercard fighters for the other two world title fights.
Hopkins (54-6-2, 32 KO) will be attempting to unify his IBF light heavyweight title with the WBA belt held by Shumenov (14-1, 9 KO), and an underrated story is that Shumenov will be looking to unify his WBA title with Hopkins' IBF belt.
Also on the bill, Shawn Porter (23-0-1, 14 KO) will make the first defense of his IBF welterweight title against Paulie Malignaggi (33-5, 7 KO). Both won on December 7 in Brooklyn in their last fights, Porter beating Devon Alexander and Malignaggi topping Zab Judah.
Peter Quillin (30-0, 22 KO) will open the Showtime broadcast, defending the WBO middleweight title against former European 154-pound champ Lukas Konecny (50-4, 23 KO).
All fights, of course, are set for the 12-round championship standard.
