Keith Thurman: People don't understand the power that I produce

Keith Thurman gives his thoughts on his win over Julio Diaz, as well as what's next for his career.

Following his stoppage win tonight over Julio Diaz, which came at the end of the third round, Keith Thurman spoke with Showtime Sports backstage, giving his thoughts on the fight and his future plans.

On the win over Diaz:

"I was disappointed that (the fans) were disappointed, you know? But like I said, people don't understand the power that I produce. You have to step in the ring. And, you know, that was a judgment call on their behalf. I know I landed the body shot. I was surprised he didn't go down from it. Obviously, he just had a delayed reaction. He probably felt it when he sat down and he was breathing, and their corner made a judgment call."

On what he'll be doing next:

"You can expect me to put on a few pounds, you know what I'm saying? I'm gonna eat good. I'm gonna enjoy life for a little bit. But then we're gonna go right back to the gym, and just get ready to destroy the welterweight division, baby. I'm ready for anybody. Anybody. Everybody can come get a piece of 'One-Time' Keith Thurman."
