ESPN Friday Night Fights - Garcia vs Cayo: Live results and streaming coverage (May 1, 2014)

Roberto Garcia faces Victor Cayo in the main event of tonight's special Thursday night edition of ESPN Friday Night Fights.

Tonight in another special Thursday edition of ESPN Friday Night Fights, Roberto Garcia faces Victor Cayo in a 150-pound catchweight main event, and super middleweight Jonathan Gonzalez takes on Rogelio Medina in the co-feature.

Garcia (34-3, 22 KO) has been a fringe contender at 154 pounds for a while now, and has rattled off six straight wins since his 2010 loss in Mexico to Antonio Margarito, in Margarito's lone fight between his loss to Shane Mosley and subsequent suspension, and his return against Manny Pacquiao and then Miguel Cotto.

Cayo (32-4, 23 KO) is a natural 140-pound fighter who needed three attempts to make the 150-pound limit yesterday. You've likely seen him in losses to Marcos Maidana, Lamont Peterson, Nate Campbell, or Emmanuel Taylor. He'll be the underdog here.

Gonzalez (17-0-1, 14 KO) is probably best-known for the time he grossly missed weight for his first and thus far only HBO fight in 2012, when he missed by about nine pounds in a fight against Serhiy Dzinziruk. He's now fighting as a super middleweight, while then he was supposed to be a junior middleweight.

Medina (32-5, 26 KO) has lost three of his last five and has a fairly empty record.

The fights start at 9:00 pm EDT on ESPN2.
