Sergio Martinez and Miguel Cotto hit the scales for the WBC's 30-day weigh-in ahead of their June 7 HBO pay-per-view main event at Madison Square Garden, and both fighters' weights are looking good for the big night.

Martinez will defend his WBC and Ring Magazine middleweight titles against Cotto, a former 140, 147, and 154-pound titleholder, with a catchweight of 159 pounds. Martinez (51-2-2, 38 KO) weighed in at 170 pounds, while Cotto (38-4, 31 KO) is basically already at weight, coming in at the normal division limit of 160.

Cotto last fought on October 5, smashing Delvin Rodriguez in his first fight with new trainer Freddie Roach, snapping a two-fight losing streak that saw him drop 2012 bouts to Floyd Mayweather and Austin Trout, the latter ending his long undefeated streak at MSG.

Martinez has not fought since an April 2013 defense in Argentina against Martin Murray, which saw the aging champion survive by the skin of his teeth in a fight some felt he should have lost on the scorecards. He's had numerous injury problems in the last couple of years, and has been dropped in each of his last two fights.
