Juan Manuel Marquez and Mike Alvarado both came in under the 144-pound catchweight limit for tomorrow night's HBO main event at The Forum in Inglewood, California, with Marquez weighing in at 141.6 pounds and Alvarado at 143.2.
The winner of tomorrow night's fight is expected to challenge Manny Pacquiao for the WBO welterweight title late this year on HBO pay-per-view.
Marquez (55-7-1, 40 KO) is 40 years old, but even coming off of a loss and as the smaller (or at least significantly shorter) man, he's the favorite for tomorrow's fight. Alvarado (34-2, 23 KO) is also fighting off of a defeat, as he was beaten down in Denver by Ruslan Provodnikov last October, just seven days after Marquez's loss in Las Vegas to Timothy Bradley.
Bad Left Hook will have more on the fight including previews tonight and tomorrow morning, leading up to live coverage, which starts tomorrow night at 10:15 pm EDT.
