Following last night's HBO World Championship Boxing broadcast, which saw Juan Manuel Marquez outclass a gritty Mike Alvarado over 12 rounds, we got to see the latest edition of Face Off with Max Kellerman, featuring Miguel Cotto and Sergio Martinez in a sit-down interview that featured spooky music and backwards chairs.
Cotto (38-4, 31 KO) will challenge Martinez (51-2-2, 38 KO) for the WBC and Ring Magazine middleweight championship on June 7 at Madison Square Garden, live on HBO pay-per-view.
The build-up to this fight has been one surprisingly littered with trash talk, particularly from Martinez, who continues to say he's felt disrespected, and that Cotto has the demands of a diva or teenage girl. Cotto, meanwhile, has mostly shrugged it all off, just saying that since he's the A-side of the fight, he gets to make certain calls.
Face Off didn't change the tone of the fight's hype at all, keeping it pretty much where it's been, while sending these messages out to perhaps a wider audience.
How would you grade this Face Off, and who do you think "won" the face-to-face showdown?
