Simpiwe Vetyeka and Nonito Donaire made weight for tomorrow's WBA featherweight title clash in Macau, with Vetyeka, the defending champion, coming in at 125½ pounds, and Donaire at 126.
Donaire (32-2, 21 KO) is looking to win a world title in a fourth weight class, as he's claimed belts at 112, 118, and 122, as well as an interim title at 115. Vetyeka (26-2, 16 KO) is coming in hot with back-to-back stoppage wins over Daud Yordan and Chris John, ending the latter's long undefeated run, taking the title he'd held for nine years, and retiring him all within the same fight.
Two other featherweight belts will be defended on tomorrow's show, with Nicholas Walters putting his WBA "regular" title on the line against Vic Darchinyan, and Evgeny Gradovich defending the IBF belt against Alexander Miskirtchian.
Walters and Darchinyan tipped the scales at 125½ and 125¾, respectively, while Gradovich and Miskirtchian both came in at 125½.
Remember, BLH will have live coverage tomorrow morning from Macau, with the full card coming your way. Most will be available to stream at Top Rank TV.
