GIF: Carl Froch knocks out George Groves with big right hand in rematch (May 31, 2014)

If you missed Carl Froch knocking out George Groves earlier in London, fear not! You can see it here.

Scott Christ is the managing editor of Bad Left Hook and has been covering boxing for SB Nation since 2006.

Carl Froch knocked out George Groves today in front of some 80,000 spectators at Wembley Stadium, ending their brief rivalry with an emphatic victory due to a bomb of a right hand in round eight that put Groves down and out.

If you happened to miss the fight, or just want to look over the finish a few more times, here's a great GIF of the end of the fight:

Froch (34-2, 23 KO) left no doubts this time around, and it's a wonder that Groves (19-2, 15 KO) didn't hurt his right knee badly with the way he crumbled to the canvas. In the moment, there was some thought that referee Charlie Fitch should have counted, but he was right there and he saw it. The fight was over, and though Groves got up and was talking, he was also wobbling around and was finished.

Is this the knockout of the year so far for 2014?
