Floyd Mayweather: I think I kind of dominated the fight, Maidana made it dirty

Floyd Mayweather says that he believes he dominated on Saturday against Marcos Maidana, and that it was Maidana making it a dirty fight, with Floyd persevering, adjusting, and getting the job done.

"Nothing really surprised me. I knew he was a guy who liked to come straight ahead. I knew he was going to kind of make it a dirty fight. I thought the ref was going to say, basically, keep it clean, because Tony Weeks has always been a fair guy. He's only human. He makes mistakes. He's a great guy, though, he's a great ref. But tonight he let a lot of things fly that I don't think he should have been letting fly. I got the win the best way I know how."

"I kind of dominated the fight, but at times when I laid on the ropes, he swung a lot of big shots and missed. But he hit me a lot on the sides and on the thigh. That comes with the territory. I took my time, I done what I had to do, and I went out there and won tonight."

"I just kept my composure. I've been here before. I know what it takes when it's a fight of this magnitude. I was a better man tonight."

"I couldn't see. I kept wiping my eye because I couldn't see. But I've got the best cut man in the world, Rafael Garcia. I couldn't choose a better man to be in my corner. He stopped the blood, and I went out there and done what I had to do."

"My focus is to go home, rest, spend a lot of time with my family. I've had a very, very long career. I think what's most important is my two daughters and my two sons, because every day I want to become a better person. There's some things I did in the past, not nothing that anyone else hasn't done, but I just want to become a better person."

"As of right now, I just wanna go home and sit down and see what I come up with. I don't know if I'm fighting again or not. As of right now, I need some rest."

"I kept telling (Weeks), he's hitting me low. It's a low blow. It's a thigh shot.
