Tonight at 10:00 pm EDT, HBO Boxing After Dark will have a live doubleheader from Brooklyn's Barclays Center, featuring two world title fights, as well as a replay of last week's pay-per-view fight between Miguel Cotto and Sergio Martinez.
In the main event, "The Siberian Rocky" Ruslan Provodnikov (23-2, 16 KO) makes the first defense of his WBO junior welterweight title against unbeaten Chris Algieri (19-0, 8 KO). Provodnikov is a -700 favorite in this fight and seems a tall task indeed for Algieri, but sometimes you never know until the fight is on.
The co-feature will see Demetrius "Boo Boo" Andrade (20-0, 13 KO) defend the WBO junior middleweight title, also a first defense, against Brian "The Lion" Rose (25-1-1, 7 KO). Andrade is an even bigger favorite than Provodnikov at -1400, with few giving England's Rose, a former British champion, much chance at the upset.
Bad Left Hook will have live coverage of both fights, with immediate post-fight analysis for each bout. Join us tonight!
