Tomorrow night on HBO, Terence Crawford returns to action to defend his WBO lightweight title against Yuriorkis Gamboa, but today in Glasgow on Sky Sports 3, the man he beat for the title is back, as Ricky Burns faces Dejan Zlaticanin at the Braehead Arena.

Burns (36-3-1, 11 KO) has switched trainers and is looking to get back into the 135-pound mix, and today he tries a tune-up against Zlaticanin (18-0, 13 KO), a rather unknown opponent, but one who does have a win over recent ESPN Friday Night Fights standout and Boxcino 2014 champion Petr Petrov. This isn't a totally soft comeback for Burns, which is nice to see.

Burns, 31, has struggled in his last two, as he was given a very generous draw last September against Ray Beltran, and was soundly outboxed and beaten by Terence Crawford in March. Both of those guys are good fighters, though, so today will tell us more about where Burns is at as he goes forward.
