The World Boxing Council (WBC) has unveiled a new line of world title belts, their "sixth generation" of the famous green belt, and the winner of tomorrow night's Miguel Cotto vs Sergio Martinez middleweight title bout will be the first fighter to receive one of the new trinkets.

From the WBC:
The latest edition of the famous green and gold WBC belt encapsulates the image of our great and forever remembered President Jose Sulaiman, The King of Boxing Muhammad Ali, plus the pictures of two of the WBC greatest champions in the respective division, who were of course chosen by boxing fans.
The all-time middleweights on the belt for tomorrow are Marvin Hagler and Carlos Monzon, two perfectly deserving legends.
Cotto (38-4, 31 KO) and Martinez (51-2-2, 28 KO) are fighting for the WBC belt currently held by Martinez, who is also recognized as the lineal champion of the division as the Ring Magazine champ.
