Miguel Cotto will challenge Sergio Martinez tonight on HBO pay-per-view for the middleweight world championship, as the Puerto Rican looks to become a four-division world champion, while Martinez is hoping to fend off another challenge and keep his four-year title reign going.
The PPV event tonight from Madison Square Garden will start at 9:00 pm EDT, with preliminary fights starting at 6:00 pm EDT. Prelim fights can be streamed right here at Bad Left Hook, and feature Felix Verdejo, Willie Nelson, Jose Pedraza, and Jose "Wonder Boy" Lopez, among others in action.
Cotto (38-4, 31 KO) had a 7-0 career record at MSG before a late 2012 loss to Austin Trout, and now returns to the venue for the first time since that defeat. Martinez (51-2-2, 38 KO) has been out of action for a little over a year now due to knee injuries suffered in back-to-back fights, both wins over Julio Cesar Chavez Jr and Martin Murray.
