As always, HBO will present an encore edition of their pay-per-view headline fight, as those who missed it last night will be able to see Miguel Cotto's dominant win over Sergio Martinez from Madison Square Garden this coming Saturday, June 14.
The Cotto-Martinez replay will be paired with a live doubleheader on Boxing After Dark, featuring Ruslan Provodnikov defending the WBO junior welterweight title against Chris Algieri in the main event, and Demetrius Andrade putting his WBO junior middleweight belt on the line against Brian Rose in the co-feature. The live fights will take place at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn.
Cotto (39-4, 32 KO) dropped Martinez (51-3-2, 28 KO) three times in the opening round last night, setting the tone for a fight that went his way all night long, eventually leading trainer Pablo Sarmiento to stop the bout after the ninth round.
