Zou Shiming vs De La Rosa, Rigondeaux vs Kokietgym, more: Boxing TV schedule for July 16-19

Zou Shiming, Guillermo Rigondeaux, Gilberto Ramirez, Brian Viloria and more are all in action this Saturday in Macau, plus more fights on tap this week.

USA TODAY Sports
Scott Christ is the managing editor of Bad Left Hook and has been covering boxing for SB Nation since 2006.

Wednesday, July 16

BoxNation (UK), 2:00 pm EDT, Frank Buglioni vs Sam Couzens, Bradley Skeete vs Steven Pearce, Mitchell Smith vs Peter Cope. The popular Buglioni is looking to bounce back from his first career defeat, a TKO-6 loss to Sergey Khomitsky in April, while Skeete will be facing someone whose name makes me think of the lead singer of the band Ratt. BLH will have live coverage.

Friday, July 18

ESPN2, 8:00 pm EDT, Karim Mayfield vs Emmanuel Taylor, Cletus Seldin vs Bayan Jargal. How many shows are you going to see a Cletus fight a Bayan? Karim Mayfield is trying to come back from a dud loss to Thomas Dulorme on HBO. BLH will have live coverage.

FOX Sports 1, 10:00 pm EDT, Mercito Gesta vs Luis Arceo, Jonathan Chicas vs Emmanuel Robles. Gesta, one of the many failed "next Pacquiaos" out of the Philippines, is back and now working with Golden Boy's team for the time being. BLH will have live coverage.

TyC Sports (ARG), 10:00 pm EDT, Cristian Javier Medina vs Mariano Ruben Diaz Strunz.

Telemundo, 11:35 pm EDT, Jonathan Vidal vs Juan Kantun.

Saturday, July 19

Top Rank TV / BoxNation (UK), 5:00 am EDT, Zou Shiming vs Luis De La Rosa, Guillermo Rigondeaux vs Sod Kokietgym, Brian Viloria vs Jose Alfredo Zuniga, Gilberto Ramirez vs Junior Talipeau. Also in action on this card: Rex Tso, Ik Yang, Kuok Kun Ng, Egor Mekhontsev, and Mark Anthony Geraldo. The best fight on the upper portion of the card might be Ramirez-Talipeau. Viloria's taking a stay-busy fight, while Rigondeaux ought to dominate Sod Kokietgym, a 37-year-old Thai fighter who has 68 wins over nobody and two losses to Daniel Ponce De Leon, amounting to a career record of 68-2-1. Zou is facing a Colombian with a very Colombian record. The Top Rank stream will not show Zou, Rigondeaux, or Ramirez. Not sure about Viloria. But BoxNation will have the full card. BLH will have live coverage.

HBO2, 5:00 pm EDT, TAPE DELAY: Zou Shiming vs Luis De La Rosa, Gilberto Ramirez vs Junior Talipeau. No Rigondeaux on the HBO2 coverage. He's on Solo Boxeo Tecate later on Saturday night.

TyC Sports (ARG), 10:00 pm EDT, Victor Emilio Ramirez vs Deon Elam, Brian Carlos Castano vs Sebastian Lujan.

UniMas, 11:00 pm EDT, TAPE DELAY: Guillermo Rigondeaux vs Sod Kokietgym. Here's where Rigondeaux airs now. UniMas tape delay.

Televisa (MEX), 11:00 pm EDT, Nery Saguilan vs Seiichi Okada, Arturo Santos Reyes vs Jairo Hernandez.
