Fury vs Chisora II: Undercard rundown featuring Billy Joe Saunders, Chris Eubank Jr, many more

Billy Joe Saunders and Chris Eubank Jr are set for separate bouts on Saturday's Fury-Chisora II undercard in Manchester.

Jordan Mansfield

Tyson Fury and Dereck Chisora meet again on Saturday at Manchester's Phones4U Arena in a rematch of their 2010 fight, with the winner figuring to be in line for a WBO world heavyweight title shot, and also claiming the British and European heavyweight titles.

But there's a lot more on tap for the show, too, with plenty of domestic prospects and rising stars in action. Here's a quick rundown of the action you'll see besides Fury-Chisora on the AWE (US) and BoxNation (UK) broadcast.

12 Rounds - Vacant European Middleweight Title
Billy Joe Saunders vs Emanuele Blandamura

Saunders (19-0, 10 KO) has had his run as British and Commonwealth champion at 160 pounds, and now the 24-year-old southpaw looks to take the next step, approaching "European level" before world title contention. The reality is that the European level is often no actual step up from the British domestic level, and Blandamura (22-0, 5 KO) might not really be any better a fighter than Saunders has already faced in the likes of John Ryder, Gary O'Sullivan, or Jarrod Fletcher. Blandamura beat Marcos Nader via split decision in January.

12 Rounds - vacant British Lightweight Title
Tommy Flanagan vs Martin Gethin

Flanagan (24-0, 8 KO) is the favorite on paper, an unbeaten 25-year-old southpaw, but Gethin (24-5-1, 11 KO) gave the last British champion, Derry Mathews, quite a fight in his last outing, losing a split decision. With Mathews vacating the title, Gethin is getting a second shot, while Flanagan looks to take that next step. This could be the 30-year-old Gethin's last shot at British glory.

12 Rounds - British Junior Middleweight Title
Liam Smith vs Jason Welborn

Smith (16-0-1, 6 KO) will try to make his second successful defense, after winning the vacant title against Erick Ochieng last September, and defending in December against Mark Thompson. Welborn (15-2, 6 KO) has won four straight since a January 2013 loss to Frankie Gavin.

10 Rounds - Middleweights
Chris Eubank Jr vs Ivan Jukic

Eubank (16-0, 11 KO) continues his assault on pretty but empty records, as he faces Croatia's Jukic (19-2, 12 KO) in a fight that is at a pretty familiar level for him already, not any different from fights with Sandor Micsko, Robert Swierzbinski, or Stepan Horvath. Expect some Eubank-Saunders drama.

Other fights

Junior middleweight Ronnie Heffron (15-1, 5 KO) faces Liam Williams (9-0-1, 4 KO) in a 10-round bout ... Junior welterwieght prospects Jack Catterall (8-0, 4 KO) and Nathan Brough (11-0, 2 KO) meet for the vacant Central Area title ... Liam Walsh (15-0, 10 KO) and Kevin Hooper (15-2, 3 KO) square off in a 10-round lightweight fight ... Heavyweight veteran Eddie Chambers (39-4, 21 KO) continues his new UK career beating up grossly overmatched foes, as he'll take on Marcelo Luiz Nascimento (17-6, 15 KO) in an eight round bout ... Bradley Saunders (10-0, 8 KO) will apparently be in action, as will Thomas Stalker (8-0, 2 KO) and the debuting Michael Gomez Jr, among several others.
