ShoBox 200: Hatton, Bradley, Guerrero and other alumni discuss the series' importance

ShoBox will hit its 200th episode on Friday, and over the last 13 years has helped launch the careers of Timothy Bradley, Chad Dawson, Robert Guerrero, and the American career of Ricky Hatton.

Scott Christ is the managing editor of Bad Left Hook and has been covering boxing for SB Nation since 2006.

Timothy Bradley

"Before I fought on ShoBox, I was very aware of ShoBox. I remember watching Ricky Hatton on there. ... Without ShoBox, I wouldn't have been able to just jump right on television and fight for a world championship."

Ricky Hatton

"It made me a name, and the fact that even before my chance came against Kostya Tszyu, I think the American audience knew of me."

Chad Dawson

"ShoBox is the right stage for a fighter coming up."

Ishe Smith

"I love watching great fights, and I know ShoBox is going to give me that."

Robert Guerrero

"You're fighting well-matched fights that are going to make you a better fighter."

Shawn Porter

"ShoBox has given us the avenue that most fighters don't get. Us Olympians and us young fighters that have big aspirations, it gives us the opportunity to be on a bigger, larger stage. And I just want to say thank you to ShoBox for that."
