Tonight at 9:30 pm EDT on HBO, Genandy Golovkin returns to defend his WBA middleweight title against former titleholder Daniel Geale in the main event at Madison Square Garden, with a heavyweight co-feature of significance also on tap.

Golovkin (29-0, 26 KO) is arguably facing a career-best challenge in Geale (30-2, 16 KO), though few seem convinced that Geale will fare any better than anyone else has to date against Golovkin, who has taken on an air of near-invincibility, graduating to "monster" status in fan perception.

In the co-feature, Bryant Jennings (18-0, 10 KO) meets Mike Perez (20-0-1, 12 KO) with a potential WBC heavyweight title shot on the line. Perez disappointed in January in a draw with Carlos Takam, following his win over Magomed Abdusalamov last November. We'll have to see how he does here, as Jennings has been performing very well, including a dominant win in January over Artur Szpilka in his HBO debut.
