Al Haymon is back at it, as Sergio Mora announced today via Twitter that he's signed a contract with the superstar adviser, in addition to his promotional deal with Lou DiBella.
I've come a long way as a self managed fighter. I have a loyal team behind me that has NEVER doubted my abilities. I can now announce...

Mora (26-3-2, 9 KO) is a former junior middleweight titleholder, who beat Vernon Forrest for the WBC belt in 2008, losing it back in a rematch three months later. He's also the first season winner of the old reality show "The Contender" ("old reality show" is such a 2014 thing to say), and has been sort of in and out of the spotlight in boxing for the last decade.
Inactivity has been Mora's biggest issue as a pro, which has led him to far too many "tune-up" type fights after lengthy stretches out of the ring. With Haymon and DiBella, he'll have the opportunities for better fights, but quality matchups have not exactly been Showtime's focus in recent months, either. So we'll see.
Mora, 33, last fought on May 31, beating Samuel Rogers in Las Vegas.
