Abraham vs Smith: Live streaming results and round-by-round coverage

Arthur Abraham takes on Paul Smith in Germany, with Matthew Macklin back in action on the undercard.

Today at 3:30 pm EDT on Sky Sports (UK) and ARD (Germany), Arthur Abraham will headline against Paul Smith in defense of his WBO super middleweight title in the main event.

Abraham (40-4, 28 KO) regained the belt on March 1 with a win over Robert Stieglitz in their third encounter, and defended on May 3 against Nikola Sjekloca, a fight that was all but ignored at Sjekloca wasn't considered a serious contender. But Smith is British, and they speak English, so we care more about this fight, which is as good as the Sjekloca fight as at best.

Smith (35-3, 20 KO) has been stopped by James DeGale (TKO-9 in 2010) and George Groves (TKO-2 in 2011) in his two biggest fights, and since losing to Groves, the only semi-legitimate opponent he's faced in four fights was Tony Dodson in June 2013, a TKO-6 win for Smith that gave him the British super middleweight title, which he never defended.

Also back in action today is middleweight veteran Matthew Macklin (30-5, 20 KO), who will face Jose Yebes (12-4-1, 5 KO) in an eight-round bout, plus cruiserweight Mateusz Masternak, light heavyweight Enrico Koelling, cruiserweight Noel Gevor, and super middleweight Vincent Feigenbutz, among others on the standard Germany-style undercard.
